Hourly Rate: Starting at $18/Hour
Weekly Shifts: Up to 35 hours weekly; (Hours may be adjusted based on season and peak hours)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- • Use a cash register to take customer orders, accept payment and give change
- • Answer customer questions about menu items and serve customers at counter
- Food Preparation – Front of House:
- • Slice meat with slicer and knife, portion and wrap food or put it on plates/boxes for service to patrons and package take-out food
- • Clean and refill inserts & other supplies
- Food Preparation – Back of House:
- • Keep records of the quantities of the food used
- • Unload trucks delivering food and supplies
- • Inspect all products using HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles
- • Enter inventory
- • Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and storage areas and bring supplies from storage areas to work areas
- • Clean, peel, slice and trim food ingredients
- • Measure and prepare ingredients for making sauces and marination
- Cleaning:
- • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas including, work surfaces, cupboards and storage areas, as well as dispose of kitchen garbage
- • Often clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- • Remove kitchen garbage, sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties as needed
What you bring:
- • High school diploma or equivalent
- • Excellent communication and customer service skills
- • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- • Strong attention to details
- • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- • Prior experience in a customer service or food service role and Food Safe Level 1 Certification preferred
